The Problems with Management and our Solutions

The State of Management in the UK Today

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that less than 25% of all UK managers have management qualifications.  They also report that A third of the UK workforce is likely to leave their current employer in the next two years because of the poor relationship they have with their line manager.”
More than this, in the UK alone 35,000 people studied for a chartered management institute (CMI) qualification in 2012. The reason why can be seen in a recent CMI survey. In the survey:
• Over 85% of managers agreed their CMI management and leadership qualification improved their performance and by transferring their new skills to the work place, almost all have seen a vast improvement in their teams’ performance too.
• 78% of employers agreed that CMI qualifications provide quality assurance for them and that the benefits outweighed the time, money and effort invested in obtaining them.
• More than 80% of managers said that their CMI qualification had helped them in gaining a promotion.

What can we do to help?

At Goffs School we offer four different CMI accredited courses. The CMI accredit internationally recognised management qualifications.
